Realme on Thursday launched two new smartphones, Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1, in India. Realme 2 Pro is a mid-range smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with up to 8GB of RAM. Realme C1 is an entry-level phone with Qualocmm Snapdragon 450 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. Realme 2 Pro: Full specsRealme 2 Pro is available in three options - 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB - priced at ₹13,990, ₹15,990 and ₹17,990 respectively.The smartphone has a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with Snapdragon 660 AIE processor with 4GB/8GB of RAM. The phone comes in 64GB and 128GB options. Realme 2 Pro features a dual-rear camera setup which consists of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The smartphone is powered by a 3,500mAh battery. Realme C1: Full specsThe entry-level Realme C1 has a large 6.2-inch display with notch. It is powered by a 4,320mAh battery. Realme C1 comes with 13MP + 2MP dual-cameras and 5MP AI selfie camera. It comes with 16GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD slot. It runs on ColorOS 5.1.

Surprise launch
Realme also introduced a new entry-level phone, Realme C1. Priced at Rs 6,999, the smartphone comes with a large 6.2-inch notch screen. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 2GB of RAM. The phone has 4,320mAh battery.
Realme C1 comes with 13MP + 2MP dual-cameras and 5MP AI selfie camera. It comes with 16GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD slot. It runs on ColorOS 5.1.

The phone comes with built-in gaming optimisation. Realme has partnered with Asphalt to showcase the gaming capabilities of the phone.

The top-end model of Realme 2 Pro will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone will also be available in 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
Snapdragon SoC with AI
Realme 2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 660AIE processor.It is the same chipset that powers Xiaomi's Mi A2. Realme points out the processor optimises RAM consumption by 50%.
Realme 2 Pro: New screen design
Realme 2 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch display with Gorilla Glass protection. Realme 2 offers a large screen experience in a smaller form factor. The phone measures 156.7 × 74.0 × 8.5mm. Realme 2 Pro is available in Blue Ocean and Ice Lake tones.

Youth focused phone
It will be not the first time a company will be targeting the young demographic. In the past, the likes of HTC and Asus have launched phones keeping style-focused users in mind.
New approach
Realme CEO Madhav Seth takes the stage. He says the company wanted to “change the game” with new approach that included better quality and focus on services. He also stressed the company is focusing on design. He claims Realme will soon be one of the fastest growing smartphone brands in India.
Event begins
Realme event kicks off with an AV highlighting the company's focus on design and style. Realme has been targeting youth with its unique design + specifications combination.

Realme is claiming the new phone will deliver “Max Power.” It's unlikely Realme 2 Pro will have larger battery, but one can expect a slew of software optimisation under-the-hood.
Performance
While design has been the USP of Realme phones, this time around the company is highlighting the performance bit as well. The company will be using Snapdragon 660 SoC on in its Realme 2 Pro. It's the same chipset that powers Xiaomi's Mi A2 smartphone. Realme 2 Pro will also be available in 8GB of RAM variant.

Ahead of the official launch, Realme has dropped in quite a few teasers for the new phone. In one of the tweets, Realme hints at the improved gaming performance on the phone.
2nd Gen Realme
Realme recently launched Realme 2 smartphone. The phone is available 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB storage with 64GB storage -- priced at Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,990 respectively. Realme 2 came with some minor improvements over the predecessor like a larger 4,230mAh battery. The phone, however, is a stripped down version of the predecessor with inferior Snapdragon 450 processor.
