Reliance Jio prepaid plans prices: Much to users' disappointment, telecom operator Reliance Jio has announced a hike in prepaid mobile prices. The announcement comes just days after competitors Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea decided to raise their own prepaid plans prices in November. Airtel raised tariffs with effect from November 26, while Vodafone Idea increased its rates with effect from November 25. As per the information provided, the revised Reliance Jio prepaid plans prices will be effective from December 1. According to Jio, the new tariff plans are in line with its commitment to further strengthen a sustainable telecom industry.

"In line with its commitment to further strengthen a sustainable telecom industry, where every Indian is empowered with a true digital life, Jio today announced its new unlimited plans. These plans will provide the best value in the industry. Upholding the Jio promise of providing the best-quality service at the lowest price globally, Jio customers will continue to be the biggest beneficiaries," Jio said in a release on Sunday. "The new unlimited plans will go-live on 1st December 2021 and can be opted from all existing touchpoints and channels," it further added.

The new Reliance Jio prepaid plans include JioPhone plan, unlimited plans (unlimited voice and data) and data add-ons. Jio customers can check the details about all these plans here:

₹75 JioPhone Prepaid Plan

The current plan of ₹75 will cost ₹91 from December 1 and will offer a validity period of 28 days along with the benefits of 3 GB data per month, unlimited voice calling and 50 SMS.

Reliance Jio Unlimited Plans

1. The current plan of ₹129 will cost ₹155 from December 1 and will offer a validity period of 28 days along with the benefits of 2 GB data per month, unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS.

2. The current plan of ₹149 will cost ₹179 from December 1 and will offer a validity period of 24 days along with the benefits like 1 GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS daily.

3. The current plan of ₹199 will now cost ₹239 and will offer a validity period of 28 days along with the benefits like 1.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS daily.

4. The current plan of ₹249 will now cost ₹299 and will offer a validity period of 28 days along with the benefits like 2 GB data daily, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day.

5. The current plan of ₹399 will now cost ₹479 and will offer a validity period of 56 days along with the benefits like 1.5 GB data daily, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day.

6. The current plan of ₹444 will now cost ₹533 and will offer a validity period of 56 days along with the benefits like 2 GB data daily, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day.
