Samsung Galaxy Watch comes with LTE connectivity, NFC, water resistance and a battery claimed to offer up to 5 days of juice on a single charge.
Samsung on Thursday launched its flagship smartphone, Galaxy Note 9. Along with it, Samsung also unveiled a new wearable - Galaxy Watch.
Samsung took a different turn this year by not launching a new generation Gear smartwatch. Galaxy Watch is available in two display sizes of 442mm and 46mm. It starts at a price of $329.99 ( ₹22,700 approximately) for the 42mm display Galaxy Watch and in two colour options of 'Midnight Black' and 'Rose Gold'. Galaxy Watch with 44m display size and in silver colour is priced at $349.99.

Galaxy Watch offers 16,000 watch faces and features a hi-res AMOLED display with integrated touch. The display is protected by Corning's Gorilla DX+ glass for scratch resistance.
Samsung Galaxy Watch is also equipped with 5 ATM for water resistance. and has military grade durability. Samsung says that the Galaxy Watch will run for up to five days on a single charge. Galaxy Watch will monitor the user's heart rate and alert for any instabilities. Galaxy Watch also comes with 39 different exercises.
It keeps a track of sleep patterns, and calculates sleep time. Users can also sync their calendar with Galaxy Watch to keep a track of all their events and schedules.
Galaxy Watch comes with support for LTE connectivity and NFC for wireless payments through Samsung Pay. It can be charged along with the Galaxy Note 9 on Samsung's 'Wireless Charger Duo' charging pad.
