It recorded over 100 million users in 2020 with 72 percent of them being under the age of 35. It is a dating app similar to Tinder, where those looking for a partner or a friend can create a profile of themselves with pictures and can swipe through suitable profiles on the basis of their preferences and choices. Swiping right means liking a profile and left means rejecting a profile. When two people swipe each other right then it’s known as a match and the participants can start chatting. One of the most interesting things about this dating app is that the female has to make the first move and initiate the conversation. If the woman doesn’t send the message within 24 hours after pairing, the match is lost and they can no longer message each other. Users can access Bumble app to find a nearly perfect match by creating an account through Facebook, phone number, and Apple ID (for iOS).. Here we reveal what is Bumble all about: Also read click here. ### On Bumble, it is the women who initiate a conversation Unlike Tinder and other dating apps, Bumble allows women to send the first message to prevent them from being bombarded with messages from men. Despite a match, the men are not allowed to initiate a conversation. The match expires after 24 hours. ### Bumble is free, but users can avail paid features and perks as well The sign-up for the app is free for all, however, there are some premium services that can be availed by paying a fee. The premium service includes an additional 24 hours of extension to see if their match will send them a message. ### Bumble is not just for heterosexual couples The app does not require you to define your sexuality, you can choose your interests, preferences - men, women or both. If your interest preference isn’t a female-male match, the app allows either person to message first. ### Bumble profiles are verified Bumble provides a verified profile. The users are required to complete the verification by taking a picture doing a certain motion. The profiles are marked check to show potential matches that they are real people. ### Bumble isn’t just for dating The app is not only limited to dating but it also gives a platform to connect to more people and find friends. You can switch the app to BFF mode to access the profiles of the users of the same sex that Bumble thinks will make for a good friendship.
