The new season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is going to be adding new games that are inspired by the Middle Ages. Mediatonic’s not-so-violent battle royale will see these medieval designs soon. The announcement was made at the Gamescon celebrations last evening.
In Fall Guys, players compete in 60-player mini-games that are based on eliminations. The games usually simple - races to the finish line, obstacle courses, memory matching etc, but they are fast and fun.
The new additions, that should roll out by October, will bring in feudal fortresses, knockout knights and pugilistic paladins as well as new costumes, emotes and more.
Fall Guys has become an instant hit after being released earlier this month. The game has already sold 7 million copies on Steam and currently holds the title of the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time.
In fact, the game is so popular that a mobile version is currently in the works. Although that might come to only China for now, you can expect it to roll out to more countries given its popularity.
Fall Guys is a battle royale game but without the shotguns and the headshots and since it is also less complicated than a Fortnite or a Call of Duty, a mobile version of the game seems perfect.
Fall Guys is available on PlayStation 4 and Steam.
