Managing passwords is a tricky thing as you may not be able to remember each and every password accurately every time. In order to stay safe from hackers, and cyber criminals, people tend to keep strong passwords which eventually turns out to be more difficult to remember. In order to solve such issues, Google has come up with the Google Password Manager. You can even add a shortcut for the same on your Android device in order to easily know the passwords.

It can be known that Google Password Manager makes it simple to use a strong, unique password for all your online accounts as when you use the Password Manager, passwords are saved in your Google Account. Also, Google Password Manager can be used to create and save strong, unique passwords that you don't have to remember; protect all your saved passwords with built-in security; and automatically fill in passwords from your Google Account.

But what if you want to check out all the saved passwords of the websites and portals you use? You can do so by going to the Settings on your Android device but adding a shortcut on your phone's home screen can also make your work a lot easier! Here is the step-by-step guide you need to follow:

Step 1:

You will first have to go to Setting on your Android phone.

Step 2:

You will then have to look for the option saying Passwords and Accounts, then click on Google. It can be noted that if you are a Samsung user you will have to click on General Management and then go to Passwords and autofill, then tap on Google to see Password Manager.

Step 3:

Once the Password Manager page opens, you will be able to see a small settings icon at the right side of the screen. Tap on it.

Step 4:

You will have to scroll down and look for the option saying add Shortcut to your home screen.

Step 5:

Clicking on this will bring up a pop-up asking you to confirm to add the shortcut on your phone's home screen. You need to click on Add to home screen in order to confirm.

Step 6:

And you are done, you will be able to see the Google Password Manager shortcut on your Android phone's home screen. Now all you need to do to check all your passwords is click on the shortcut.
