iPhone 14 Pro will be priced higher than the standard iPhone 14 and will have some exclusive features over its cheaper counterpart. Here's what to expect.

Like the always-on display feature on Android phones? Now, Apple is bringing it to iPhones, starting with the iPhone 14 Pro. (MacRumours)

Apple is expected to launch four iPhone models this year in an Apple event on September 7 - iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, in addition to the new Apple Watch 8. The Pro models of the iPhone 14 series will feature a new notch design, taking up minimal screen area while keeping all the same or even improved version of the sensors seen in the iPhone 13 Pro series.

Apple expert and top analyst Jeff Pu has revealed that all the models in the iPhone 14 series will feature Apple’s ProMotion displays with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. At this moment, only the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max offer the ProMotion displays. On top of that Apple is expected to include a feature that’s never been seen in an iPhone before – the always on display.

iPhone 14 Pro models to get always-on display feature

The iPhone 14 is rumoured to bring some never-seen-before features on the iPhone. The features include an always-on display which has been long in demand. The feature has been ever-present on Android smartphones, allowing users to peep at their important notifications, time and more, even with the display turned off. Now, it seems that iPhones users might finally get their wish fulfilled with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max set to get this feature.

According to MacRumours, the always-on display feature in the iPhone 14 Pro models will remove the depth effect seen in lock screen wallpapers. Instead, the background will get toned down to save battery while the always-on display is switched on. Apple will also bring the ability to use widgets on lock screens as well as notification pop-ups when the always-on feature is turned on. MacRumours further reported that Apple is already working to prevent OLED burn-in when using the always-on display feature.
