HMD Global will soon launch new Nokia smartphones. The refreshed lineup will include Nokia 2.4, Nokia 6.3, and Nokia 7.3. Another long-awaited phone from HMD Global, Nokia 9.3 PureView, is also set to make its debut later this year. Ahead of the official launch, a new report has shed light on the possible design of the premium phone.
Nokia 9.3 PureView will look quite different from the predecessor, Nokia 9 PureView. Instead of an archaic thick bezel design, the upcoming premium phone will have two designs, one with a punch-hole cutout and one without the cutout.
According to Nokia Anew (via NokiaMob), the new phone may launch as Nokia 9.3, skipping the PureView branding. As far as the display design goes, Nokia may consider a pop-up camera solution to give a higher screen-to-body ratio. The punch-hole camera is also more or less has become a new standard on mid-range, budget, and premium phones.
That said, Nokia 9.3 PureView will bring the best of Nokia this year. The phone is said to continue the tradition of a penta-camera setup. It is expected to have a 108-megapixel camera as well. Other sensors on the phone could include a 64-megapixel sensor as well. The smartphone is also said to feature a high-res display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The flagship phone is also rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor.
Nokia 9.3 PureView is likely to follow HMD Global’s new launches at the IFA 2020 conference in Berlin. The company is expected to launch Nokia 2.4, Nokia 6.3, and Nokia 7.3.
The cheapest in the lot is Nokia 2.4 which is said to come with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a notch on the front and 19:9 aspect ratio. It will have MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor. Nokia 2.4 will be available in 2GB RAM with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variants. In the camera department, Nokia 2.4 will offer at least two rear sensors. The setup will be 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, Nokia 2.4 is said to come with a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
