Tecno Pova with 6,000mAh battery to launch in India next week

Tecno Pova will launch in India on December 4. The smartphone’s launch was confirmed via Flipkart. Tecno Pova has already made its debut and it’s available in markets such as Nigeria and Philippines.

The launch is scheduled for 12 pm on December 4, according to the teaser page on Flipkart. This is going to be another budget offering from Tecno in India. Tecno Pova costs PHP 6,999 which translates to roughly ₹10,800. The smartphone will most likely be priced around the same in India.

Tecno Pova has a punch-hole display, a rear fingerprint sensor and four rear cameras at the back. The smartphone comes in three colour options of Magic Blue, Speed Purple and Dazzle Black.

In terms of specs, Tecno Pova features a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole camera. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G80 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

The smartphone has a quad-camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with dual flash. The other three rear cameras will have two 2-megapixel sensors, and an AI HD lens, based on a tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma.

Tecno Pova packs a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W flash charge. The smartphone is said to last for 30 days on standby, 8 days of music playback, and talktime of 64 hours. On the software front, Tecno Pova runs Android with HiOS layered on top. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, FM, Wi-Fi, and OTG as well.
