Vivo X Note with BIG advantage over iPhone 13 Pro, Samsung S22 Ultra launches

Vivo X Note has been finally launched! The next bog flagship from Vivo changes the nomenclature slightly and is now called the Vivo X Note, with its focus on the large 7-inch display. This is the most equipped and feature-rich phone from the conventional category, while the Vivo X Fold takes care of the new foldable category. Vivo has launched this in China only for now and the company is yet to announce its plans to bring it to global markets.

With its price, the Vivo X Note takes over from the Vivo X70 Pro Plus. The base vivo X Note with 8GB/256 GB starts at CNY 6,000 (Rs. 71,400), whereas the other variant with 12 GB of RAM costs CNY 500 extra. The fully loaded 12GB /512 GB model costs CNY 7,000. Vivo is also selling a 50W wireless charger as an accessory for the phone.

Vivo X Note specs at a glance

The Vivo X Note is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. This is accompanied by a new Secure Processing Unit on the Snapdragon chip. Vivo has given the phone a large vapor chamber to keep the temperatures cool.

The other highlight is the 7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ration of 21:10, peak brightness levels of 1500 nits and a 112 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The phone gets the 3D Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner we saw on the iQOO 9 Pro earlier this year and its larger area allows users to scan two fingers at a time to enhance its security.

Now, time for the cameras. The Vivo X Note has got some beefy camera hardware on its back. The phone has a 50MP ISOCELL GN1 1/1.3-inch main camera sensor with f/1.57 lens. The lens gets the ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating. This is accompanied by a periscope camera with 5X optical zoom and up to 60X digital zoom. There’s another 12MP IMX663 sensor that wit a 47mm lens that offers 2X optical zoom. The fourth camera is a 48MP wide-angle sensor with a 114-degree FOV.

Lastly, the phone has a 5000mAh battery that relies on a 80W wired fast charging solution and a 50W wireless charging solution. The phone comes in Blue, Black and Gray colour variants. And yes, there is an Alert Slider on the side to quickly put it in silent mode.
