Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised the validity of its ₹99 plan in India. The company’s special tariff voucher (STV) now comes with a validity of 22 days.
While the company has reduced the validity of its ₹99 plan, it is now offering a free Personalised Ring Back Tone service (PRBT) or caller tune with unlimited song change benefits.
This news comes as a courtesy of the BSNL Tamil Nadu Twitter handle which shared details of the revised plan. In addition to that, BSNL has also updated its website to reflect the change.
As far as the ₹99 plan is concerned, the ₹99 plan apart from offering caller tune also offers unlimited calling benefits with a cap of 250 minutes per day to home LSA and national roaming networks. However, the voice benefits cannot be used for outgoing calls to premium numbers, international numbers and other chargeable short codes.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that BSNL has revised its ₹99 STV. The state-owned telecom operator had first introduced its ₹99 tariff back in 2018. At the time, the recharge offer came with a validity of 26 days. The company, however, reduced the validity of this plan to 24 days last year.
