How to Reset your Network setting

Most often, when your internet speed is down, it is because your device started catching onto a slower network bandwidth. What happens is that network providers release various bandwidth to cater to people who use 4G as well as 3G internet. Similarly LTE and VoLTE are also transmitted simultaneously. Sometimes, you may just go out of reach for the higher bandwidth of the internet and your phone is programmed to automatically switch to the lower bandwidth so you do not face any difficulties in staying connected. But, many times the network will not automatically pick up the higher bandwidth even when you are back in range. This is when you can reset your network setting to boost your mobile internet speed. This is one of the smartest internet tips and tricks you can know about. So let us find out how to do it.

All you have to do is turn off the automatic mode and manually adjust your network provider. Here is how to do it:

Reset your network settings

Step 1: 

Go to settings.

Step 2: 

Then find Mobile networks and tap on it.

Step 3:

Look for the option of Network provider and tap on it.

Step 4:

Tap on ‘Select automatically'

Step 5:

Turn it off.

After this, just manually look for your network provider (Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio or Airtel) and tap on it. Once done, you will have to restart your phone. And that's it. Your internet speed should have increased.

For this to work, you have to set 4G or LTE Network on your phone. If it is not, then do it this way:

How to Select 4G or LTE Network:

Step 1:

Go to Settings.

Step 2:

Then go to Connections.

Step 3:

Find the option for the SIM card manager.

Step 4:

Go to Mobile data or Mobile networks.

Step 5:

Tap on LTE/3G/2G (auto connect).

Step 6:

Tap out of Settings.
