Honor 7S India launch: How to watch livestream, what to expect and more

Huawei's sub-brand Honor has been teasing the launch of a new smartphone in India. Honor 7S will launch in India today at 2:00 pm.

The launch event will be livestreamed by the company on its official YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages.

Honor has revealed the design and look of its 7S smartphone in the teasers. Honor 7S has thin bezels on top and bottom for its 18:9 display. It appears to be wrapped in a plastic body in blue colour with single rear camera placed at the top left corner. There's no presence of a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel.

Honor 7S would be the latest addition in the company's budget smartphone portfolio. The company currently has Honor 7A and Honor 7C budget smartphones in its lineup. Honor recently launched the Honor 9N smartphone in India which starts at ₹11,999. It also launched a gaming smartphone, Honor Play priced at ₹19,999 which competes against smartphones like the Poco F1.

In its teasers, Honor has also revealed that Honor 7S will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera. Honor hasn't revealed anything else on its upcoming smartphone. Full specifications and pricing details will be announced at the launch.

In the meanwhile, Honor has a contest going on for users to win the Honor Play, Honor 7S and Honor 9N smartphones, and the Honor Band 3. The contest requires one to spin the wheel and win any of the prizes mentioned. This contest started on September 1 and will go on till September 7.
