iPhone 14 launch today AND the Apple Store is DOWN; 'Far Out' event to start shortly

The iPhone 14 launch is slated for later today and as is the case every year, the Apple Store is down. It will be back up later with the iPhone 14 descriptions and prices. The company does this intentionally. That also means the Apple Far Out Event is all set to begin. The scheduled time is 10:30 PM IST. Apart from the launch of the iPhone 14 series, there are a couple of other gadgets expected including the new Apple Watch Series 8, Apple AirPods Pro 2 and more.

"Be right back. We're making updates to the Apple Store. Check back soon,” the Apple Store page reads right now. This accompanies the Apple Event Watch link which redirects you to Apple’s website. This temporary blackout of the Apple Store is a familiar routine to build up the excitement every single year prior to Apple Event. We have seen the same ritual during the launch of the iPhone SE 3 back in March and WWDC 2022. But don’t worry, the Apple Store will be back soon after the event and likely to add the new upcoming launches. Here’s what you might see on the Apple Store.

As soon as the Apple Store comes back, it is expected to bring the four new iPhone 14 models - two standard iPhone models and two Pro variants. These are Phone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, the new max-ed version iPhone 14 Plus, and the flagship iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Moreover, Apple may launch three new smartwatches – the Apple Watch Series 8, its more rugged version for athletics and sports enthusiasts, the Apple Watch Series 8 Pro, and the cheaper Apple Watch SE.
