Fitbit on Tuesday announced the launch of Luxe, a fashion-focused fitness and wellness tracker. The device will be available in India soon through the official Fitbit e-store and retailers this spring.
Luxe retails at ₹10,999 with six months of Fitbit Premium free trial. After the expiry of the free trial, users can avail of the subscription for ₹99 per month or ₹999 per year. The company will also launch a Fitbit Luxe Special Edition, which is priced at ₹17,999.
Luxe comes with several health and wellness features. For instance, users can get insights into their well-being through the Health Metrics dashboard. It tracks your breathing rate, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate (RHR), skin temperature variation. It will soon show oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels as well.
There is also a Sleep Score that lets you keep track of your sleep cycle. Other health features Luxe users can access are food, hydration and weight logging, and menstrual health tracking. You can also try the blood glucose logging feature in the Fitbit app that lets you track your blood glucose levels to see how they change throughout the day.

In terms of specifications, Fitbit Luxe is said to deliver up to 5 days of battery life. There are a bunch of sensors as well. It includes a 3-axis accelerometer, optical heart rate monitor, Vibration motor, and red and infrared sensors for oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring. It is water-resistant up to 50 metres. The device is compatible with phones running iOS 13.3 or higher and Android 8.0 or higher. It supports Bluetooth 4.2 for connectivity.
For the special edition, Fitbit has tied up with Laguna Beach-based jewellery brand gorjana.
