Google Pixel Buds Pro launch confirmed, will take on Apple AirPods Pro!

Google Pixel Buds Pro are coming to India! Back in May during Google I/O 2022, the company had officially announced that it would be launching the Google Pixel Buds Pro. Now, the company has finally confirmed the launch in India along with several other countries, which will take on Apple’s AirPods Pro. Made by Google's official Twitter handle shared the news along with an image of the Pixel Buds Pro, “With just ✌️ weeks until #PixelBuds Pro are available to pre-order, here’s an early look at these small buds built for big music. ”

The date of Google’s Pixel Buds Pro India launch announcement came from a response to a user's query on Facebook who showed his excitement about Pixel Buds Pro. The official handle of Made by Google responded by confirming the launch and pre-order details, "We love the excitement, Eric. Pre-order opens on July 21 and will be available on July 28, 2022 in United States (US), Canada (CA), United Kingdom (UK), Australia (AU), Singapore (SG), India (IN), Japan (JP), Taiwan (TW), Ireland (IE), Germany (DE), France (FR), Italy (IT), and Spain (ES).”

This comes as a surprise for Indian users, as at the time of their Global event of I/O 2022, Google did not reveal its plans to launch the Pixel Buds Pro in India. However, the company also unveiled Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, 7a, Pixel Watch, and Pixel tablet during the global event. Now that Google Pixel Buds Pro has been confirmed, you can pre-order starting from July 21.

But how much will it cost you? Globally, Pixel Buds Pro are priced at $199.99, but its price in India is still a mystery.

Google Buds Pro specs and features

The Google Pixel Buds Pro comes with active noise cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode to make you aware of your surroundings. Usual features available on standard Pixel Buds such as fast pair, and Volume EQ are also available on the Pro model. And just like Apple's AirPods Pro, the Pixel Buds Pro can seamlessly switch between devices and can translate 40 languages in real-time. Google promises to deliver 11 hours of battery backup, while with ANC on, it will be up to 7 hours.
