Microsoft launches Surface Headphones 2+, Modern Webcam and more

Microsoft on Tuesday launched the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 in the US. Along with its new laptop, the company today announced a bunch of new accessories including the Surface Headphones 2+, Modern Webcam, wireless headsets and headphones among others.

In addition to this, the company announced that its dual-display smartphone, the Microsoft Surface Duo, is now available for business and education customers in additional European countries.

Surface Headphones 2+

The company launched the Surface Headphones 2+ on-ear headphones today. These new headphones feature 13 levels of active noise cancellation, innovative earcup dials, an advanced 8-microphone system for voice clarity and 18.5 hours of music listening time or up to 15 hours of voice calling time. They are certified for Microsoft Teams with the included dongle. They are priced at $299.99 ( ₹22,581 approx.). They are available for purchase in select markets for Business and education customers starting today via  microsoft.com or their local authorized reseller.

Microsoft Modern USB and Wireless Headsets

Microsoft also launched Microsoft Teams-certified Modern headsets. They enable users to join a meeting or answer a call with the dedicated Teams button. These headsets also come with a physical mute button and LED mute indicator light. They are priced at $49.99 ( ₹3,762 approx.). Microsoft said that Modern USB and Wireless Headsets will start shipping in select markets this June to business and education customers.

Apart from the above-mentioned device, Microsoft also launched the Microsoft Modern USB-C speaker. The company said that it  will offer it high-quality audio for meetings, calls and casual music listening. Microsoft says that the Modern USB-C Speaker will help users manage Microsoft Teams meeting experience with speaker drivers, dual microphones and intuitive controls and indicators. The Microsoft Modern USB-C Speaker will start shipping this June for $99.99 ( ₹7,526 approx.).

Microsoft Modern Webcam

The company also launched the Modern Webcam today. Microsoft says that it easily attaches to users’ monitor, laptop or tripod to provide 1080p video, HDR and a 78° field of view optimised for meeting experiences. Users can easily open and close the integrated privacy shutter with LED usage indicator. The Microsoft Modern Webcam will start shipping this June selling for $69.99 ( ₹5,270 approx.). It will be available for business and education customers via local authorised resellers starting today.
