Realme Buds Q2 with ANC and 28-hour battery life launched in India: Check price and specs

Realme on Thursday launched the Realme Buds Q2, the company’s affordable true wireless earbuds (TWS) in the country, featuring 10mm drivers and a low latency mode for gaming. The new earbuds are the successor to the Realme Buds Q that were launched last year and come with a higher price tag, but also bring new features in tow.

The company is touting the active noise cancellation feature on the Realme Buds Q2, along with sweat and water resistance and a gaming mode.

Realme Buds Q2 price in India and availability

The Realme Buds Q2 will be sold in Acive Black and Blue colour variants and is priced at ₹2,499. With upgrades like active noise cancellation, these earbuds are more expensive than their predecessor launched last year, which launched at ₹1,999. The earbuds will be sold starting June 30 at noon on Realme.com, Amazon and Flipkart.

Realme Buds Q2 features and specifications

The Realme Buds Q2 have 10mm drivers with a polymer composite diaphragm and Realme is touting its new BassBoost+ software feature, along with an 88ms gaming mode for low latency. The earbuds weigh 4.5 grams and Realme states that they are IPX5 rated which should make them ideal for workouts or splashes in the rain. They also support Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, which means they should work well with Android 12’s Bluetooth LE mode.

Unlike their predecessors, the Realme Buds Q2 will come with active noise cancellation support, powered by the company’s new 22nm R2 chip which the company says is optimised for efficient active noise cancellation, more stable connections and better call quality. The Realme Buds Q2 also come with 20 hours of battery life with ANC enabled, but Realme says they can go up to 28 hours with noise cancellation disabled. They also support fast charging with three hours battery life with 10 minutes inside the charging case, according to the company.
