Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Buds Live launched in India, check prices, top features

Samsung on Monday announced the launch of its Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live in India. The Galaxy Watch 3 will go on sale starting August 27 while Galaxy Buds Live will be available a little later from August 25. The wearables will be available across retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and leading online portals.

Galaxy Watch 3 41mm is priced at ₹29,990 and ₹34,490 for the Bluetooth and 4G variants respectively. Galaxy Watch 3 45mm starts at ₹32,990 for the Bluetooth variant and ₹38,990 for the 4G variant.

Galaxy Watch 3 41mm comes in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Silver colours, while the Galaxy Watch 3 45mm has colour options of in Mystic Silver and Mystic Black colours.

Galaxy Buds Live will be available in Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black and Mystic White colours at a price of ₹14,990.

Pre-booking offers

On pre-booking the Galaxy Watch 3 4G model (both 41 and 45mm variants), consumers are eligible to purchase the just-launched Galaxy Buds Live at a discounted price of ₹4,990 (a benefit of ₹0,000). The offer is available on all pre-bookings done online at the Samsung Shop and offline retail stores between August 17 and 26.

The Galaxy Watch 3 Bluetooth model (both 41 and 45mm variants) also has a pre-booking offer of an instant cashback of ₹4,500 on the 41mm model and ₹5,000 on the 45mm model. The offer is exclusive to pre-bookings done online at Samsung Shop, Amazon and Flipkart between August 20 and 26.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

The larger variant of the smartwatch features a 1.4-inch circular display. The smaller version has a 1.2-inch display. Both the variants feature AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 comes with a rotating bezel as well.

The Galaxy Watch 3 features an atmospheric pressure sensor, GPS antennae, light sensor, touchscreen and speakers. It also features pressure vent and the heart rate sensor on the back and the sleep monitoring feature.

Samsung’s new wearable has 5ATM and IP68 water and dust resistant certifications. There is also a fall-detection feature on the smartwatch that sends an emergency message to a contact of your choice if you fall or are unresponsive for more than a minute.

In terms of specs, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 runs on Tizen OS with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, and Exynos 9110 dual-core processor.

Galaxy Buds Live

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live features active noise cancellation (ANC) and 12mm drivers, two internal and one external microphone. The wireless earbuds are also equipped with sound by AKG and a Voice Pickup Unit.

The Galaxy Buds Live is said to deliver up to 6 hours of playback, and the charging case brings an additional 15 hours over multiple charges.
