Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatch has been launched today with some major upgrades from the previous model, Galaxy Watch 4. The new batch of Samsung smartwatches including the Galaxy Watch 5 and its Pro version have been launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphones during the global Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event today. With new fitness-tracking features, an updated design, and more ways to stay connected from your wrist, the new Samsung Watch has a lot to offer. Samsung Galaxy Watch 5: Specs and features at a glance 

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Watch 5 comes in 40mm and 44mm, while the Pro comes in a single variant of 45mm size. The Galaxy Watch 5 series with powered by the same 1.18GHz Exynos W920 processor, with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. However, it has an improved version of the 3-in-1 BioActive sensor, which boasts features such as ECGs, heart rate, and body composition analysis. For connectivity, it get built-in GPS, contactless payments, optional LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi. Know that both the watches are rated with IP68 dust and water resistance.

There's also a Galaxy Watch 5 Golf Edition that offers directions to golfers and recommendations while they’re on the course. It comes with exclusive watch faces, a two-tone band as well as membership on the Smart Caddie app.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Price

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 comes at a starting price of $279 (around Rs. 17975) for the Bluetooth version and $329 for the LTE version. While the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro comes at a price of $449 for the Bluetooth version and $499 for the LTE version. The Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro are available for pre-order in select markets starting today, with retail availability starting August 26. The Watch 5 Golf Edition comes in three sizes — Watch 5 Large, Watch 5 Small and Watch5 Pro, starting at $329 for the Bluetooth version.
