This water ejecting feature was introduced with Apple Watch 2 and has been there ever since.

In the video we see how the YouTuber enables the Water lock mode in its Apple Watch and later places it under a macro camera just to see how the speaker throws out water that gets trapped inside. Take a look.

Most of us are familiar with how the mechanism works. If you have Apple Watch 2 or later version, you can enable ‘Water Lock’ by touching and holding at the bottom of the watchface and then swiping up. This opens the Control Centre of the watch. You can then scroll to the bottom and tap on the water droplet icon to activate the feature.

Once done, you can rotate the digital drown in either direction until the display says that the feature is disbaled. Once the watch gets unlocked, it clears any water that remains in the speaker.

It is worth adding that none of the major smartwatch makers have brought this feature except for Apple.
