Sennheiser CX 400BT earbuds launched in India at ₹16,990

Sennheiser is trying to get some more piece of pie in the sub- ₹20,000 truly wireless earbuds segment by launching the CX 400BT True Wireless. Priced at ₹16,990, the earbuds will be up for pre-orders starting September 18. You can get it from e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart and Tata Cliq.

So what you get here is a 7mm dynamic driver unit and a built-in equaliser, which was also found in the more premium MOMENTUM True Wireless 2. The earbuds have customisable touch controls, can take calls and support voice assistants as well. As for the codec support, you get SBC, AAC, and aptX. And, it is supported by company’s own Sennheiser Smart Control app.

Sporting Bluetooth v5.1, frequency range up to 21,000Hz and a battery that charges in 1.5 hours, the Sennheiser CX 400BT True Wireless also get fast charging. The firm says that it can play music for up to 7 hours for earbuds alone and up to 20 hours along with the charging case. You can get it in only Black and White colours.

Sennheiser says that CX 400BT True Wireless shares a lot of features with that of the MOMENTUM True Wireless 2. “These include 7mm dynamic drivers with a built-in equalizer, an ergonomic design, customizable touch controls, calls and voice assistant access, as well as support for SBC, AAC and aptX Bluetooth codec support,” says the website. 

However, the MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 additionally gets ANC & Transparent Hearing, smart pause, IPX4 splash resistance, MOMENTUM craftmanship and a 28-hour battery life.
