Sony WF-H800 earbuds launched at ₹14,990: Here’s what it offers

It’s raining audio products from Sony. The Japanese tech firm has launched a few earbuds and the flagship WH-100XM4 headphones in the past couple of months. And this time it has introduced the WF-H800. These are not as premium as WF-1000XM3 but fall in the mid-range segment as it is priced at ₹14,990 and is already available in Black colour variant. You can get it from Flipkart and from select Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive).

Sporting 6mm drivers, the WF-H800 weighs 7.6 grams each. It supports DSEE HX (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine HX) which you find in other Sony earbuds as well. These help in restoring the details of the high-range sound that is usually lost while compression. The earbuds also have deliver up to 16 hours of battery life. Out of these, 8 hours come from headphones themselves while the additional 8 hours come from the wireless charging case. It also supports quick charge tech that is claimed to deliver up to 70 minutes in just 10 minutes charging.

Besides this, you get auto-power feature that switches off the device when the wearer removes them. As mentioned by Sony, the WF-H800 has Sony’s tri-hold structure for a secure fit.

In addition to Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri support, the earbuds also support different EQ customisation via the Sony Headphones Connect app.

Talking about Sony audio products, the firm recently introduced its WH-1000XM4 headphone in India at ₹29,990. The Noise Cancellation is powered by the QN1 chipset. This works along with Dual Noise Sensor technology that captures ambient noise and passes the data to the processor to cut it. Besides a built-in amplifier, the headphone gets the same 40mm drivers with improved algorithm for better clarity.
