PUBG Mobile adds a Livik map made specially for phones, tablets

This means a smaller version of the new Livik map with more action and faster matches on PUBG Mobile when you are playing it on a smartphone or tab.

Livik is a much smaller map than the other maps on PUBG Mobile and it lets players wrap up a match in about 15 minutes.

PUBG Mobile brought in a new exclusive map called Livik recently and this version of the map has been made specifically for those playing on smartphones and tablets. The new map was brought in on July 5 and it officially goes live on July 7, that's tomorrow. 

A special map for tabs and smartphones means shorter matches across a smaller landscape which is easier to handle on a smaller screen. The new map comes along with a new theme, game tweaks and several bug fixes according to the 0.19.0 patch notes.

Livik is a much smaller map than the other maps on PUBG Mobile and it lets players wrap up a match in about 15 minutes. The mobile version of Livik is only 2km X 2km and limits the game to a maximum 52 players per game. The experience will be much better for mobile players thanks to this new map but PUBG Mobile has pointed out that Livik is still in beta at this point for mobile devices.

Livik has been described as a Nordic map that is filled with snow-covered mountains, green pastures and flowers. The map also comes with some exclusive weapons that have been tailored to suit the small map span including the SMG P90 for close combat and MK 12 marksman rifle for long-range fights.

There is also a monster truck on the scene for this map.

Future updates will bring Experimental Trial Weapon Crates with weapons that come with new icons and names. These weapons will feature improved stats as compared to the normal variants.
