Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is the company’s most affordable 5G phone yet. Samsung has launched the phone in Europe, and it is yet to reveal availability for other markets.
Samsung has launched its most affordable 5G smartphone, Galaxy A22. The smartphone comes in a 4G variant as well. Samsung Galaxy A22 4G and 5G have been made official in Europe. Samsung will start selling the phone in Europe this July onwards. It is yet to announce availability for other markets.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G starts at 229 euros ( ₹20,300 approx) for the base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also comes in two more configurations of 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB but the prices are yet to be revealed. Galaxy A22 5G comes in four colour options of grey, mint, violet and white. Galaxy A22 4G also comes in three configurations of 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB. Samsung hasn't revealed the pricing and availability details of the 4G variant. Its colour options are black, mint, violet and white.
In terms of specs, Galaxy A22 5G features a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB. Galaxy A22 5G sports a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
The 4G variant of Galaxy A22 has a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with a quad-camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It also features a 13-megapixel selfie camera. It also comes with the same 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
