Samsung Galaxy A22 will reportedly launch in June. Here is how much the 5G version of the smartphone may cost.

We have been hearing about Samsung Galaxy A22 for quite some time. So far, leaked specs indicated it would be just another addition to the crowded A-series. The latest leak, however, shows the phone is going to get its share of the limelight.

The leak in question is the alleged European pricing for the 5G version of the Galaxy A22. According to Dealintech, Samsung Galaxy A22 5G will be available for a starting price of Eur 185 ( 16,400 approximately). The leak also says the pricing is for the 64GB model of the phone. The pricing indicates the Galaxy A22 is likely to be the most affordable 5G phone from Samsung so far.

Of late, Samsung has brought 5G support to its M-series and A-series which are mainly budget and mid-range focused. The 5G support is more or less standard on the premium Note and S-series. Samsung’s most affordable phones with 5G are Galaxy M42 and Galaxy A32.

As far as the Galaxy A22 goes, the handset is rumoured to come in 4G and 5G versions. According to leaks, the 5G phone will come with a 6.4-inch IPS LCD. The phone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It will ship with 6GB of RAM. It may also pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Galaxy A22 5G is said to come with a triple-camera setup on the back. It will consist of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. Rumours claim the phone will come in four colours – green, purple, white, and black.
