Lenovo Legion poster shows gaming smartphone in full glory: Launch date revealed

Lenovo Legion Pro will be launching in China first and the posters are out on country’s own microblogging website, Weibo.

Lenovo, at the time of Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor announcement, confirmed the existence of its forthcoming gaming smartphone, the Lenovo Legion. Although the details were not mentioned, it was confirmed that the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 865+. Now, the company has finally revealed the launch date of the ‘Legion Pro'. And its in next five days (July 22). Lenovo Legion Pro will be launching in China first and the posters are out on country's own microblogging website, Weibo. 

Interestingly, the posters not just reveal the date but also show the Legion Pro gaming smartphone in all its glory. From the looks of it, the device seems to have stereo front facing speakers on top and bottom of the screen. It is also shown as a slightly thicker smartphone than usual.

What is interesting, however, is the front facing camera position. No, its not on the top as a pop-up module or a notch, but a module at the back towards the right edge. The camera opens to the side of the handset, where we usually have the power button. At the centre-back, are the two flush rear facing cameras as well, which again is an unusual position. Even the overall look at the back design is different in the images.

Some specs have also been confirmed from these posters. It will sport a 20-megapixel sensor for the front-facing camera along side four air triggers. It is being said that the handset could sport an OLED screen with 144hz refresh rate. Some other confirmed specs include 90W Super Flash charge.
