Nokia 6.3 latest leak reveals Snapdragon 730 SoC, quad camera

Nokia 6.3 was earlier rumoured to run on a Snapdragon 600-series chipset.

HMD Global has some Nokia smartphones in the pipeline this year. One of these is the Nokia 6.3 which is expected to launch in Q3 this year. More details on this smartphone have now been leaked.

The latest leak on Nokia 6.3 comes from NokiaPowerUser which reveals the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730 processor. This is different from past leaks which suggested Snapdragon 670 or Snapdragon 675 processor for the Nokia 6.3.

Nokia 6.3 was also rumoured to house a quad camera setup. This leak reveals the camera configuration will feature a 24-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a macro lens.

Nokia 6.3 is also said to house a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which will double as a power button as well. The smartphone is also expected to pack 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. It could be offered in more storage variants as well. And the base variant could be priced at 249 Euros which translates to roughly ₹20,600.

Nokia 6.3 will succeed the Nokia 6.2 which is priced at ₹13,168 in India. The mid-range budget phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, FHD+ display, triple rear cameras and a 3,500mAh battery. The smartphone has a notch on its display, and it has a rear fingerprint sensor. It also has NFC support, and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
