Poco F2 launch just got teased in an official video, specs tipped

The video also shows the achievements of Poco of selling more than 10 lakh handsets last year and the company's fourth rank in the list of online smartphone brands in India.

Poco has already launched its F2 Pro smartphone in India, but it has always stayed shut about the less powerful model, Poco F2. However, it looks like 2021 will be the year when the smartphone maker will be launching its Poco F2 in the country. 

The brand has shared a new video on Twitter, showcasing its achievements in the last year and all the phones that it has launched. However, in the end we also see the video mentioning Poco F2 for a split second, hinting that it might be the company's first smartphone launch in 2021.

The video also shows the achievements of Poco of selling more than 10 lakh handsets last year and the company's fourth rank in the list of online smartphone brands in India. 

Although the company has not yet confirmed the existence or the arrival of Poco F2, its mere mention in the end of the video somewhere hints at a possible launch. What adds to the speculation is the screenshot posted by a tipster Abhishek Yadav on Twitter, showcasing the leaked specifications of Poco F2.

As per the screenshot, the handset will be featuring Snapdragon 732G processor and will have 120Hz AMOLED screen. Also mentioned is that Poco F2 will be backed by 4250mAh battery. In addition, it will have four rear cameras, comprising of a wide, ultra-wide, macro and a depth sensor. The model name is said to be K9A. Some other features mentioned are reverse charging and NFC.

Rumour has it that Poco is expected to launch its laptops in India soon. According to tipster Mukul Sharma, two new laptop batteries (R15B02W, R14B02W) received the Indian BIS certification last month and are marked under the Poco brand. Poco has launched multiple devices this year after becoming an independent brand of Xiaomi. The devices, however, has been just phones. The company did tease Poco Pop Buds, but the TWS earbuds are yet to see the light of the day.
