Realme V15 set to launch in China on Jan 7: All you need to know

Realme will launch a new smartphone later this week. Here are expected specifications and features of the phone.

Realme will launch a new handset in China on January 7. Dubbed as Realme V15 as well as Realme Koi, the smartphone has appeared in multiple leaks in the past. The official teaser, however, gives a closer look at the design.

Spotted by Mukul Sharma, Realme V15 has a glossy back finish. It houses a rectangular camera module on the top left corner. The camera array houses as many as three sensors. It is also said to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera. You can also see “Dare to Leap” engraving on the back panel.

According to older leaks, Realme V15 will run on MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor with 5G support. It is said to come with a 50W fast charger.

Separately, Realme is also working on a premium Race smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. According to reports, the handset will come with a 4,000mAh battery. It will also support 125W UltraDart fast charging technology, which is said to charge the phone to up to 41% in just 5 minutes and to the maximum 100% capacity in 20 minutes.

That said, Realme had introduced V series in August last year. The first phone under the series was Realme V5. The phone came with a 6.5-inch full HD+ LCD and 90Hz refresh rate. It also offered a camera combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. It can also shoot 4K videos at 30fps. On the front, it offered a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone ran on MediaTek's high-end Dimensity 720 processor with 5G support. It has 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage, and 5,000mAh battery.
