If you are wondering why it was not launched yesterday, during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event, then know that this is a tweaked version of the handset launched in February. This version of the smartphone comes with a new in-house chipset - Exynos. Barring the chipset under the hood, the hardware on the new Indian variant of the Galaxy A12 remains the same compared to the original Galaxy A12 which came with the MediaTek Helo P35 chipset. Samsung’s new smartphone bears the model number SM-A127F, while the older model with the MediaTek Helio chipset had the SM-125F model number. It is worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy M12 and the Samsung Galaxy F12 both come with displays that refresh at a faster rate, but cost less than the new Galaxy A12 mobile.
