THIS is the Samsung Galaxy Note 22, err… Galaxy S22 Ultra; smaller S22 leaks too

Renders of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S22 have leaked on the web. Here's how they look.

One of the most high-profile smartphone launches in the early days of 2022 will be the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Thanks to the uncontrollable bunch of leaks, we know how the Galaxy S22 series looks like (mostly). The regular Galaxy S22 seems more of an improvement of the S21, whereas the Galaxy S22 Ultra is getting some “note”worthy additions. And now, we have leaked renders to ogle at.

Thanks to a bunch of official Samsung renders leaked by 91Mobiles, we know have a clear idea of how the Galaxy S22 series looks like. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is peculiar this year owing to its S Pen stylus and a Galaxy Note-inspired design from the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. No specs leaked yet but there's no harm in looking at their photos.

Similar to what the previous rumours had hinted, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is getting the full Galaxy Note treatment this year. That means the S Pen gets to sit inside a dedicated silo of its own. The design is reminiscent of the Note 20 Ultra, although that rectangular camera hump has gone away and in its place are five round circles jutting out of the body.

Samsung also seems to bring back the bronze colour from the Note 20 lineup. It is said to be available in Burgundy, Green, Phantom Black, and Phantom White color variants. The front has similar bezel-less treatment, and unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the front camera still has a cutout.

The regular Galaxy S22 appears similar to the Galaxy S21 from last year. The design looks almost identical to the S21 but Samsung seems to have ditched the dual tone colour scheme. The camera hump now carries the same colour as the rest of the body. The front appears no different as well, with similar slim bezels and a camera cutout. No S-Pen stylus on the regular Galaxy S22.

The leak says that Samsung will offer the S22 in Green, Pink Gold, Phantom Black, and Phantom White.

Note that Samsung hasn't verified any of these leaks and hence, you should wait for an official confirmation from the brand.
