Xiaomi Mi 10S with Snapdragon 870, 108MP camera launched

Xiaomi Mi 10S also comes with a 90Hz display, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone from its Mi 10 series. It's the Mi 10S and it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, a 108-megapixel camera, and a 90Hz AMOLED display.

Mi 10S has been made official in China, and it starts at CNY 3,299 ( 37,000 approx) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and this variant is priced at CNY 3,799 ( 42,600 approx). The smartphone comes in three colour options of black, blue and white. Xiaomi hasn't announced when the Mi 10S will hit international markets but interested buyers in China can get it from March 12 onwards.

In terms of specs, Mi 10S features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood of the phone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In the photography department, Mi 10S sports a quad-camera setup featuring a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, Mi 10S sports a 20-megapixel front camera.

Mi 10S packs a 4,780mAh battery with support for 33W wired, 30W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It also comes equipped with Harman Kardon-powered dual speakers. On the software front, Mi 10S runs MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
