456 Airtel prepaid recharge plan: Times are tough and companies have ordered most staffers to work from home. Those who are self-employed too are having to deal with the situation and earn their money mostly by doing their work from homes. Even children are stuck at home and they are mostly glued to their smartphones or laptops. Critical for their success, all other things being equal, is the data plan. The idea is to get a bigger bang for their buck and that translates into more and more data. Keeping all of that in mind, Bharti Airtel has launched a new data plan for its prepaid subscribers. The newly introduced data plan expands Airtel's prepaid plan portfolio, and offers more data, especially to the people working from home.

This new Airtel prepaid plan costs 456 and it offers 50GB of data along with unlimited calls and 100 SMSs per day. It comes with a validity of 60 days. Once users have exhausted their data, Airtel will charge them 50 paise per MB of data. For SMS, once the daily limit of 100 SMSs has been reached, the company will charge Re 1 for local SMSs and 1.5 for SMSs sent nationwide.

The list of benefits offered by this Airtel data pack doesn't end there. Airtel's 456 prepaid data pack also offers a 30-days free trial of the Mobile Edition of Amazon Prime Video. In addition to that, it offers a free subscription of Airtel Xstream Premium, Wynk Music and free Hello tunes. Subscribers are also entitled to get a three-month subscription of Apollo 24|7 Circle and a one-year subscription for an online course at Upskill with Shaw Academy. Lastly, the 456 prepaid plan offers a cashback of 100 on FASTag recharges.

Notably, this Airtel data plan doesn't come with a daily data limit. This means that subscribers can use the 50GB of data that this plan provides as per their wishes. This plan also doesn't come with any limit on voice calls.

As far as the availability of this newly introduced Airtel plan is concerned, Gadgets 360 reports that it is available on Airtel India's official website, the Airtel Thanks app and third-party platforms, which includes Paytm and Google Pay.

Airtel vs Jio

This new Airtel 456 prepaid plan competes with Reliance Jio's 447 prepaid plan that offers 50GB of data, along with 100 SMSs per day, unlimited voice calls along with a validity of 60 days. Once the 50GB limit expires, the speed of the data limits to Kbps. Apart from data benefits, users also get a free subscription of Jio apps with this plan.
