Putting an end to all the rumours and leaks, Apple has finally unveiled its iPad Air fouth generation and 8th-generation of the entry-level iPad tablets in the market. These come in addition to the new Apple Watch SE, Watch Series 6 and Apple One. Both the products feature several upgrades on the inside and outside as well. Design-wise they are more polished and adapt to the new design that Apple has already introduced via its iPad Pro tablets.

iPad Air 4

The fourth generation of iPad Air is powered by Apple A14 Bionic chipset and features Face Unlock as well. This time it's thinner and lighter and the touchID is embedded right on the home button. A lot of design cues have been taken from iPad Pro models, but it still lacks the Pro's ProMotion screen.

Some other features include 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, USB-C, Wi-Fi 6 support,  7-megapixel FaceTime caemera, 12-megapixel rear camera and new colour variants.

It starts at $599 and will be available by next month.

iPad 8th-generation

This is the new entry-level tablet from Apple that shares the same design as its predecessor, the 7th-gen iPad but has new features and upgraded specs. Powered by Apple A12 Bionic, the tablet now supports Apple Pencil. It starts at $329.
