Apple has released their first television ad specifically targeting the Indian market. Apple's ad for the iPhone 6 which came out on Friday is centred around an Indian wedding ceremony.

The advertisement follows a groom as he gears up for his wedding, while using his iPhone to stay in touch with his bride to be. The ad uses the setting to run through a littany of features Apple's newest flagship has to offer. The groom uses the front facing camera to take selfies, chat using iMessage and video chat using face time. The bride does all of the same things while keeping her face hidden from the camera, since it's considered bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding ceremony.

The ad ends with both of them meeting at the altar and a voiceover cues in: 'We know how hard it is to wait for something special. Which is why we offer the iPhone 6 on easy EMI.'

The Apple commercial was written and conceptualised by Leo Burnett India, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, and made by Red Ice Films.
