Chinese hen gives world's heaviest egg

A super egg, 8.5 centimetres long, 6.1 centimetres wide and weighing 206 grams has been laid by a hen in Jiaozuo in central China, Xinhua reported.

Chen, a woman farmer specialised in chicken raising, has raised a brood of round, sturdy hens, one of which was the eight-month old hen that laid the record-breaking egg on March 18.
