Doctor Strange 2 on Disney+ Hotstar: When to watch
Those who have been patiently waiting for the OTT debut of the movie since its silver screen release on May 6 can heave a sigh of relief as the sequel to the 2016 film comes tomorrow June 22. According to the official post on Disney+ (Disney Plus), the movie will be released on the platform globally at 3 AM ET (12:30 PM IST). So after that you will be able to watch the movie on Disney+ Hotstar.
The confirmation comes from the official Twitter account of Disney+ Hotstar. On June 18, the handle posted, “Watch #DoctorStrange in the Multiverse of Madness 22 June onwards in Hindi, Tamil Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and English”.
The superhero adventure movie will see Benedict Cumberbatch reprise his role as the titular Doctor Strange and he will be accompanied by Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong and others in supporting roles. Olsen will portray her widely loved character of Wanda Maximoff which was last seen in the Disney web series WandaVision.
The Doctor Strange 2 film has become a financial success after recording a global revenue collection of $932 million. It also became the 10th highest grossing Marvel Cinematic Universe movie after reaching the milestone of $400 million revenue domestically (in the USA).
