'Family Guy' game marked for fall, returns to mad Multiverse

Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse is heading to game consoles this fall, and features the sort of deranged alternate realities seen in 2009 episode 'Road to the Multiverse.'

Though publisher Activision is yet to detail which consoles the game will arrive on, or even a precise release date, an early listing from online retailer Amazon marks it down for a September 25 launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The timing could see it dovetail with South Park's high-fantasy video game foray in The Stick of Truth, and would certainly coincide with a new season of Family Guy episodes which, historically, make their debut late September.
