UFC can be broken up into two parts. You have vertical fighting, which is a regular fighting game between two players. You also have the horizontal mechanic that kicks in when you take an opponent down.

The game has quite a few modes. In the career mode, you can create a fighter from scratch and rise to become the best in your category. There's also a Classics Fights mode that allows you to re-live all major fights in UFC history.
Although the combat system is rock solid, it lacks the visceral feel associated with this sport. UFC 2009 Undisputed is now available for both Xbox360 (₹2199) and PS3 (₹2499).
