Google doodle celebrates gay street artist

Keeping with tradition, Google has transformed its logo into dancing figures to celebrate the 54th birth anniversary of street artist Keith Harring, who aimed to spread social messages with his unique pop art creations.

Keeping with tradition, Google has transformed its logo into dancing figures to celebrate the 54th birth anniversary of street artist Keith Harring.

The animated doodle depicts human figurines in Google colours dancing in varied styles to bring in Keith's artistic flavor.

Born on May, 4 1958, Harring practiced vibrant public art. The American artist aimed to spread social messages with his unique pop art creations.

Harring, who was openly gay, was diagnosed with AIDS early in life. He later campaigned excessively for safe sex and generated awareness against AIDS.
