Nick Woodman, the founder and CEO of GoPro, unveiled the Six-Camera Spherical Array -- a round mount that holds six Hero4 cameras in the name of creating virtual reality at the media and technology Code Conference on Wednesday.

Expected to go on sale later this year, the new mount would leverage your stitching technology for photos and videos from Kolor, the virtual reality company that GoPro bought in April.

He also broke the news that the company has a drone in the works, which they estimate would be ready in 2016.

It's incredible to see our world from new perspectives,' says Woodman. 'It's a real 'Oh my God' moment, we did that with our GoPro cameras, and we see a similar opportunity in the quadcopter market.'
