Gmail recently upped its game with a host of new features. We pick out five that deserve your attention.

Emojis: Gmail's latest update rolled out a host of emojis to help netizens express themselves when words are just not enough. These include playboy emoji and Gandhiji's three monkeys. To use an emoji, click the 'Insert Emoticon' icon in your Compose window.

More themes: Putting the fun back in email, the update added hundreds of wallpapers and gives users new ways to customise them with editing tools like blur, vignettes and custom text. To change a theme, go to Settings, choose an image from Google's collection or pick one of your own.

Undo send: You can now 'unsend' that mail you didn't quite mean to shoot off. Go to Settings and in the General tab, scroll down to 'Undo Send'. Set the cancellation period, and press 'Save Changes'.

Dump Hangouts for Gchat: There's a way to get the good old Gchat back. Click the drop-down arrow next to your profile picture in the chat area, and opt for 'Revert to Old Chat'.

No attachment limit: One of the biggest grouses netizens had with Gmail was that you could only send an attachment of up to 25MB. But, due to integration with Google Drive, which offers a minimum of 15GB of free storage, this problem is as good as gone.
