Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has enabled all citizens to book an appointment for Aadhaar card enrolment as well as updating Aadhaar Details online via official portal. Residents can visit the UIDAI portal for mAadhaar app to schedule their appointment at the nearest Aadhaar enrollment centre. The users can update name, gender, date of birth, language, address online, they will still need to visit the registered Aadhaar enrolment centre to update biometric details like photo, mobile number and others. Once you complete the Aadhaar card update, you can also track the progress by visiting the official portal. Know here the step-by-step guide on how to book an Aadhaar card appointment online.

How to book appointment for Aadhaar updation online:

Step 1: Visit the official portal of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in or mAadhaar app

Step 2: Head to click on “Book Appointment option.”

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new webpage where you can book appointment.

Step 4: Next, search for the nearest enrollment centre name via centre name, Pincode, state, district, etc. For example, you enter “Gautam Buddha Nagar” in the search details or simply type the name of the centre in the “Search by Centre Name” tab.

Step 5: Once done, the result will be displayed.

Step 6: Select the nearest centre as per your preferences.

Step 7: Choose the details that you want to update and click on “Book Appointment.”

Step 8: Once done, you will be redirected to a new page, where you will be required to select the time and date for your Aadhaar Update appointment.

Step 9: Upon completing the entire process, you will receive your appointment number on the registered number.

Step 10: Visit the Aadhaar enrolment centre and get your Aadhaar related information update with the appointment number and existing Aadhaar card.

Step 11: Get your Aadhaar update by completing the biometric and others. You will also be required to pay a nominal fee. Notably, it is mandatory to link your mobile number to your Aadhaar card to get OTP for authentication.
