Intex unveils 'Aqua T2' for Rs. 2,699

Homegrown handset maker Intex on Tuesday launched a new Android KitKat OS powered smartphone, Aqua T2, priced at ₹ 2,699 in the country.

Homegrown handset maker Intex on Tuesday launched a new Android KitKat OS powered smartphone, Aqua T2, priced at ₹ 2,699 in the country.

Intex claims the device is the cheapest KitKat smartphone available in India. It has partnered eCommerce major Flipkart to sell the device.

The dual SIM Aqua T2 features 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB ROM and 256 MB RAM. With a 3.5-inch display, the device sports a 2MP rear camera with flash, VGA front camera, FM camera and 1,200mAh battery.

'Amongst all handsets offering 4.4 Kitkat OS today, this one is definitely the lowest in the price segment and it comes with a 3.5 inch screen coupled with a 2G network. The T2 is targetted at the youth and we are delighted to partner with e-commerce giant Flipkart,' Intex Technologies Mobile Business Head Sanjay Kumar Kalirona said.
