A pair of iPhone manufacturing facilities in India have been hit by Covid-19. Factories operated by Apple's supply-chain partners, Foxconn and Wistron have been impacted by the second wave of the pandemic.

Foxconn earlier this week confirmed that 10 Chinese engineers based at its Chennai facility have been infected with Covid-19. Following the discovery, the infected workers were quarantined at a local hospital and the plant was temporarily closed for sanitisation.

My Smart Price reports that after the discovery the facility was vacated and suspended for five days for sanitisation. It was reopened soon after the sanitisation work was over.
