LeEco to unveil next-gen phones, content and fan ecosystem today

The company had first showcased a lot of products before launching its LeMax and Le 1S and the Le 1S (Eco) smartphones. Recently, it has also launched a membership plan for customers that will enable users to get access to premium content and events.
In terms of specifications, the LeEco Le 2 will reportedly feature either the Snapdragon 820 or the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, a 21-megapixel camera and the latest USB-Type C connectivity for data transfer and charging. However, the port will also double up as the headphone jack or port. The Chinese variant of the phone comes with CDLA technology which reduces loss in quality of sound.
The budget Le Eco Le 2, the successor of the popular Le 1s, is available in China at a price of ₹10,990 approx. Le 2's elder brother Le 2 Pro costs RMB 1499 in China and comes as two variants — one with 4GB RAM at RMB 2099 (approx. ₹20,099) and another with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at RMB 2499 (₹24,900 approx). The Le 2 Pro version is powered by Helio X25 processor and comes with a 21-megapixel rear camera along with two storage combinations of 32GB and 64GB. However, there is no certainty about the phones' launch here.
The company is also expected to launch the next version of its Le Max smartphone. In China, the Le Max 2 comes with a 5.7 inch 2K display, a Qualcomm 820, 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage space. It has a 21-megapixel rear camera and an eight-megapixel front camera. It comes with support for the Snapdragon fingerprint ID. This smartphone also supports CDLA sound and comes with type-C USB powered headphones.
Along with the new phones, the company is expected to make its LeMall available in India. Currently LeMall is available in China, Hong Kong and US. According to the company, it is a fast-growing online retail store that offers state-of-the-art smart devices including Letv Bluetooth Speaker and Letv All-metal Earphones among others.

It also states that the "LeMall team in India comprises highly experienced professionals who are passionate about the brand and who work tirelessly to deliver customer wow."
