Lenovo's on a roll with affordable smartphones. Hot on the heels of the A6000 Plus budget smartphone that it launched last month, Lenovo has introduced the S60 for 12,999 in India on Tuesday.

You can buy the phone directly from Lenovo's official website as well as the usual e-commerce websites. Sadly, there's only one colour -- a dull-as-ditwater Graphite Grey.

Here are the specs: a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 2 GB RAM.

The S60 also includes 8 GB storage on-board, which can be expanded up to 32 GB through a microSD card. On the back, there's a 13 megapixel camera

Lenovo's latest phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat -- bummer -- and supports dual SIM cards. A Lollipop update has been announced, but there's no date yet.
