LG Candy smartphone launched in India: Price, specifications
The smartphone will be available in India starting September 1. LG Candy comes with changeable covers in blue, silver and gold colours.

LG India on Thursday launched a new smartphone in India. LG Candy is priced at ₹6,999 and comes with changeable back covers.
"'LG Candy' smartphone is focused on delivering even more value to consumers looking for the right device that fits their lifestyle and needs," Advait Vaidya, Business Head-Mobiles, LG India, said in a statement.
"We're confident to capture the hearts and minds of consumers in the fast-moving market with our 'Candy' smartphone, its beautiful covers, camera technology and other features," Vaidya added.
LG Candy specifications
LG Candy features a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720 ) resolution. The smartphone is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. In terms of storage, LG Candy offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
For photography, there's an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone is fuelled by a 2,500mAh battery. On the software front, it runs the older Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Connectivity options on LG Candy include dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and 4G LTE.
The device will be available, starting September 1, in blue, silver and gold colours.
