Hate getting lost? Here's a smart little device that can help solve your traveling woes. The MapmyIndia Navigator, which fits comfortably onto your car dashboard, admittedly needs a bit of getting used to but handling start seeming simpler as you go along.

The 430 Classic model that we tried has map coverage of 202 cities at street level, 1,30,000 towns and villages at national level, and 4,50,000 points of interest for you to explore. In simpler words, it promises to get you from Kashmir to Kanyakumari on a national scale and from Model Town to South Ex on a local one. It also helps narrow down on various restaurants, petrol pumps, or ATMs.

On the flipside, the 'turn-left, turn-right' voice guidance sometimes gets on your nerve. The navigator also takes time to collect the GPS signal if it hasn't been used for a while. One may also look at using a touch-screen device while driving as a hassle, but that problem can be solved since the navigator lets you help the trip in advance even before you get into your car. However, in case you want to operate it while driving, we recommend a halt.
